There is some extremely limited potential for very low-yield tactical nukes, but theater defense or denial of access to US soil are not among them. The thing is, if you look at it under the theory that the Black Helicopters landed and took control _about 1993_, -- and that it's effectively all over and done with, they have assumed control etc etc etc -- it makes a deeply twisted and hurtfully bizzare sort of sense. Imagine a t-shirt that says: "We got taken over by the NWO, and all I got for it was slightly lower taxes and weird foreign neighbors." Imagine getting invaded by North Korea, and all they want to do is sell you stuff at low low prices. Imagine getting taken over by Mexico and all they want is mandatory _siesta_ at lunchtime, no you don't got to pay us for sleeping se~or but don't expect us to live by the alarm-clock neither. It's like getting invaded by the Germans and all they want is for you to be on time and maybe date their sister just once, even if she is a bit chubby and has odd notions involving rubber corsets, goats, and trampolines. See above, I've come to the conclusion that this was a "done deal" as of about 1996 or so. I think that the last vestige of genuine American control over the DC area was due to the Control Board takeover when the Marion Barry kleptocracy drove the city into near-ruin. You might find that the rep themself is a right decent person, but all of the people that surround them... well, you might have real problems convincing yourselves that they're from this planet, much less that they're your fellow human citizens. And your Rep can only deal with whatever gets past their controllers that surround them. so if you've got a problem, you're going to have to tell it to your Rep your own self.
